We visited here today with eleven other family members,And must say the poor comments that are written on here I dont have a clue where they came from !! The playbarn was very busy but the girls I must say in there are amazing ,all of our children got there faces painted as well as one young girl nicola asked us , The kids had a whale of a time and it was hard work getting them out to say the least ,We went into the restaurant for food and presume was greeted by the manager who went out of his way to organise our table and also make sure all the kids had baloons and colouring sheets ,most of us had carvery apart from a few kids meals which was loverly , so glad this place has re opened as closed due management not being strong enough with problem customers and it all going down hill , To sum up Great for kids , Great for adults and a good, very welcoming family pub keep up the work Toy Box ( 5+ stars ) Fiona

I think the price is to much my daughter is only I'm there 10 or20 min that's max hit should be half the price for under 3 thatway it would not be so much money when you have had a meal and them to let your child play is very expensive We have received the following response from this venue:
Thanks for your feedback, we are part of a chain of Wacky Warehouses and our pricing structure is fixed for all our sites. However we do have a session for parents and toddlers which we have every Monday to Friday during term time and this session is £2.00 per child and starts at 9.30 am and runs until 3.00 pm and includes unlimited juice for toddlers. We also have offers and discounts which are mailed out to our guests who are part of our email club. Once again, may I thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback

Went to Vineries Garden Centre Effingham, with a friend for the first time. It is excellent, and will be visiting it again in the near future. I would give the Vinery 5 stars, really enjoyed it there, and like the cosyness of it.

I booked a kub karting party for 12 for my sons sixth birthday. On arrival we were disappointed with the party room, no balloons etc. The karting was excellent and all the kids loved it. However the unit on which they served the children's drinks was filthy, it clearly hadn't been wiped in months. My older daughter ordered herself a meal and this was also served on the dirty unit! We went to inform the manager of this fact to be told it was the dust from the carts. Fine, but still no one came to clean it and clearly it should have been wiped prior to the party. The cost of the party was £145 this included hot dogs. It was a full twenty pounds more expensive than the £125 charged had I provided my own food. Little did I know that when they said hot dog this was literally all they got. No chips or dessert in sight. I had also called the day before to order a meal for a Muslim child. When we turned up he was given a hot dog! He then had to wait a further 25 mins for his food. I also had to order chips for the children and serve cake for dessert as the kids were starving! When you see a price difference of twenty pounds for food you expect the kids to be properly fed. All in all there can't have been £2 of food on the table given to the kids. The manager is incompetent and totally ambivalent to any issues you raise, he never even apologized! Intact he sat back at his counter and watched with little interest as I ran around trying to get the food situation sorted. All in all it was an awful experience, made worse by disinterested management. In the lucrative world of children's parties and considering the place was empty apart from our party you would consider they would have made more of an effort. Three mums with my party changed there mind about making bookings when they saw how poorly we were treated. We left without paying the additional £70 which was owed for the party and awaited a call regarding settling the bill. No call came! Another indication of how bad the management system here is and how they simply just don't care. Do yourself a favour and find an alternative party location that actually care about your child having a good time.

Me and my family couldn't wait to have a play area/resturant so close to home. We have been in many times and the children love it, we have only ever paid for an hour on arrival and sometimes the kids have played for 2-3 hours and never been asked to leave or pay more. Se make it a saturday play every second week and go to the resturant after, the food has always been perfect and the staff are very friendly towards me, my partner and 4 children, even when the kids have been very loud and running around. I have spoken to the manager many times and he seems really nice, and always has the time to speak to his customers. No complaints and we are just really happy that the entire family now have a place for the kids to play, us all to eat in walking distance and a cheeky beer for dad.

My friend and I took our 2yr old boys to KK5 at Bradford (BD8) this morning. The place was clean and quiet (to say the kids are on easter hols!). Good reasonable prices, food made fresh, was lovely. The only draw back was my son is small for his age and some of the play equipment (the biggest under 4's slide) was 'pull youself up' rather than a ramp or steps etc - which meant he needed assistance to get to the top - but still plenty for him to do :-)

I went to this Nursery today as I heard they had recently reopened their seasonal cafe. They were so welcoming & showed me around the site. They have a lovely little play area and gave my son an activity sheet to colour in and then go and see the pygmy goats. Their wholemeal pancakes with bluebeeries & maple syrup were seriously delicious and the setting was just beautiful looking out over their flowers. Will be back next week!

I have been going to Wizz Kidz since I had my first child nearly 8 years ago. The kids have had many of their birthday parties there and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and always greet me with a smile when we arrive. The food is fab and reasonably priced as is the coffee. I love that they are always striving to add to the place, recently with the "Hurricane experience" and the x-box. My kids enjoy the rainbow slide and climbing frame and always ask if they can stay for 5 more minutes when it comes time to leave. Wizz Kidz is the best one in the Chester area by far which is why we always go back.

Party of 17 for an Elvis nite. Pork in red wine was awful, many of party left their food. I was served 15 mins after everyone else. When I complained, the manager was AGGRESSIVE and did not try to rectify or compensate. I suggest if they can not cater for large parties then don't and change the manager as she isn't people friendly.

Won't be going again. Had a 2 year old, 11 year old and a 13 year old. 13 year old was too old so had to sit out as she was not even allowed to supervise 2 year old in play area (neither were us adults). There was a play area for smaller ones but only for up to 12 months. This was rounded off by not very friendly staff. There are way better play soft play areas in the area so will definitely not reccomend.

looks a gret place for kids to play when you walk in but dont be fooled this place is disgusting, filthy, dirty and thats just what you see let alone whats hiding in the ball pool where the children play. The toilets are not fit for anyone to go in, i took my child somewhere else to use the toilet as they didnt look they had been cleaned since last season. No toilet roll, drains over flowing with waste and unflushed toilets........DONT LET YOUR CHILD IN THERE. the food was served by unfriendly staff and when ours arrived it was all wasted everything is cooked fried in fat and all the same fat the smileys i ordered for my children were just greese and nothing else. I wouldnt let my children in there again..... in fact i am pretty sure if this place was inspected how we have seen it today it would be closed down as dirty and unsafe. If this is what it is like at the start of the holiday season imagine what it will be like by July. We do not have contact information for this venue so if you are the owner please get in touch.

My wee girl loves this softplay, tried a few in ayrshire and it is cleanest and tidiest, food is good, a wee bit pricey but worth it, nice presentation. Looks a bit tattered in some areas but that does not detere from the safety (this may put some people off but it shouldn't)of the play frame, has seperate area for toddlers. A great afternoon for kids, well worth a visit.

we went to the toy box for a family get together, we spent over £80 on food and drinks! we only waited 20 minutes for all our food to arrive and when it did it looked nice and was well presented, until me and my cousin started eating the LASAGNE it was cold and was not cooked, we asked for the manager who came over with a terrible attitude we was very polite and he spoke to us like we were kids i was very very DISGUSTED in the way he spoke to us and because we complained our food was cold he told us we were barred, i would advise nobody to go there unless u are not eating
