Castlemilk Sports Centre

I attended Castlemilk sports centre for my Gym induction and have to say it was fantastic. The Gym Instructor (Lee) was excellent he knows his stuff and explained everything in depth he is not to bad on the eye either. He showed me round the Gym then demonstrated the machines one by one then asked me to demonstrate them. I must admit i went in thinking oh another boring Gym induction because i have been attending Gyms for years but Lee made it fun and even taught me somethings that i already didn't Know. All in all it was a great experience and if you are going to attend the Centre be sure and ask for the Gym instructor Lee you wont be disappointed. Stacey (Centre User)

First family afternoon out at Wacky Warehouse. Ordered meals but the kids meals were awful, the beans were so dried up so these were not eaten! The chicken looked like it had been microwaved to death so not enjoyable. Customer Service was compleately lacking and no-one asked us how the meals were and staff just seemed to pre-occupied. No-one said goodbye when we left. Would not recommend.

Maybe you can make some peanut butetr and jelly sandwiches and use big cookie cutters in the shape of animals and cut them out. You can also take some animal crackers and use animal stickers and stick them on the sandwich bags and/or paper cut-outs and just throw them in the bag. And, yes, you don't want to forget to take some wipes

this was our 2nd visit to the outside inn after our first excellent experience.sadly wasnt any way near the 1st time. was pushed in a dark corner i was with 3 elderly people asked for a table with more light was told that other tables for 5 or more people. but ended up with the same number as in out party.waitress didnt seem to know the menu , when asked what things were kepted having to go in to kitchen to ask, this took along time to order.we ordered a bottle of wine which was just put on the table and lefted us to serve our selfs.once the food arrived i had gammon the meat looked nice but the peas looked tiny and over cooked tiny tomato and a few chips on a big plate it looked lost. after main meal we were lefted waiting to be cleared over 5 mins one ever came over to ask if every thing was ok. ordered desert again waitress did know that one desert had changed she bought 2 deserts out then after 5 mins came with other 2. never asked if we like coffee or any thing else. and after 20 mins from end of desert decided lets go. finally as getting up to go some came to offer us the bill. i find this very poor service .after yesterdays experience at beefeater in bispham the staff couldnt do enough for you. im sorry to say but i think twice next time were to eat.

This place is wonderful! A real good find! And excellent for rainy days. It's a huge kids indoor play area all on the theme of a village but also has another vast area at the back which can't be seen from the window. There's climbing frames, ball pools, slides, everything you'd expect but with a cool village theme to go with it. They also serve food, and good food too! The menu is excellent, they even do steaks! I was very ,radiantly surprised to read two bad reviews and can't understand wether they have the right place? Obviously in kids holidays they are bound to get busy so the playarea is bound to be messy with so many children running riot..and the toilets are attended to regularly but crazily so many parents seemed to let their children use the toilets u supervised! Staff where very polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble even though they were clearly very busy! They must of been under pressure especially in the kitchen. As someone who works in the catering I dusty I was expecting a long wait for our food, but it came quickly and we could not fault it at all, and returned several days for lunch and breakfast on our last day which was also excellent and great value for money! Very impressed, and have recommended this attraction to many friends and will defiantly be returning when we come back at Easter. FANTASTIC!!!

Went there this evening, absolute chaos. If you have a child younger than 5 take a minder as the older kids just run riot. The staff don't seem to care that the 7 year olds and over are in the under 3's area throwing things around and generally acting like out of control baboons whilst the younger kids are screaming and crying. Had to rescue our 3 year old then throw the older kids out. Their parents couldn't care less and the staff followed suit. Not happy and won't go again, Land of Play is more controlled.... Don't usually complain but if your child was supposed to be going out for a pleasant evening but then ends up hurt and crying, what else can you do?

Brilliant venue! Went wih friends to their Santa Experience, never been before, it was absolutely brilliant!! Just booked a birthday party for my little boy, he's so excited! The rooms are stunningly themed, prices are really reasonable for all that you get, my friend says it was worth every penny and the entertainers are just awesome! If it's the same team that I saw at Christmas then I can believe it!

Rumble Tumble

Rumble Tumble used to be the best place for kids in Blackburn, but back then it was called Alphabet Zoo. I have been recently with the kids and i am shocked at how unclean and untidy the place is! Today, when we walked in, the place was packed. Tables where scattered allover and chairs were stuck in the corner. It eventually took us half an hour to get a seat and table. I was sure we were in-doors but for some reason all the furniture was garden furniture :S and the old table covers looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the time they were purchased. As the kids went to play, i left my plastic chair and struggled to make my way to the counter as the floor seem'd to be coated in superglue. I weaved in and out of the maze of tables and finally ordered myself a coffee. MISTAKE! The coffee machine either needed a good clean or the staff need to put some coffee beans in it because my brew tasted like hot water and milk! I wasn't going to try the food! The only reason i have given this place 1 star is because my kids really enjoyed it but i wouldn't be surprised if they are ill in the morning. £4.50 each,,, please spend some money on the place!!!
